Attorneys Randolph Wright, Omar Sawaf and Rachel Selina were among the attendees at an event at the TCF Center in Detroit, Michigan to raise funds for the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan’s Foundation. The goal of the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan Foundation is to support the RIM Hospitals’ significant, lasting and positive impact on people who have life altering disabilities from brain injuries, stroke, and spinal cord injuries.
The elegant evening event featured a live and silent auction, dinner and a keynote speech by Tim S. Grover, a mental performance coach known for his legendary work training elite champions and Hall of Famers, including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and Charles Barkley.
The highlight of the Rehabilitation Institute’s Annual Go Beyond Gala were the “Courage Awards”, during which three individuals and former RIM patients were formally recognized and honored for their exceptional strength and courage in being able to overcome impossible odds and live a life without limitations.
