Mr. Sawaf acts as general counsel for domestic businesses/individuals advising on corporate, business, real estate, estate planning and international matters and was recognized in Legal 500’s Global Lawyer Rankings.  He also routinely acts for health-care related clients across various sectors.

Mr. Sawaf has worked on various high profile transactions including negotiating a joint venture agreement for the first Marvel Theme Park and the sale of all the commercial units in a high-profile business park.

Mr. Sawaf has also lectured on the topic of international law including serving as a visiting professor in 2019 at the University of China School of Political Science and Law.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sawaf worked at the then largest law firms in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, respectively.  He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.

What is a Revocable Living Trust?
