BIOGRAPHY
Simon M. Edelstein brings over twenty-eight years of experience in structuring and negotiating trade and investment transactions in Eastern Europe, where he represents U.S.-based clients across a broad spectrum of legal issues. His practice spans commercial, corporate, finance, tax, securities, antitrust, currency control, and labor law matters.
Mr. Edelstein guides clients through complex transactions such as acquisitions, joint ventures, and privatizations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maximizing investment opportunities.
Additionally, Mr. Edelstein represents Eastern European and other international companies entering the U.S. market, advising them on corporate structure, regulatory compliance, and commercial operations. His immigration practice focuses on both corporate and individual clients, assisting with employment-based immigration matters for businesses, as well as family-based immigration for individuals, helping clients secure both temporary and permanent residency in the U.S.
Mr. Edelstein is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and Uzbek, allowing him to provide culturally informed counsel to his clients.
