Berry Moorman P.C. attorney Randolph T. Barker recently presented at the Detroit Association of Realtors’ Annual Continuing Education Cruise along the Detroit River.
Mr. Barker’s presentation, held on August 16, 2018, discussed current legal issues facing real estate professionals and the real estate industry as a whole, including special considerations for working with owners of licensed medical marijuana facilities, amended agent advertising rules, revised lending and title regulations, and the new City of Detroit rental ordinance.
Adjunct to his real estate practice, Mr. Barker is a licensed real estate broker who serves as an elected director of the Detroit Association of Realtors.
In that capacity, Mr. Barker serves as the board’s continuing education coordinator and also serves as an arbitrator on the Professional Standards committee.
