The Detroit Association of Realtors (DAR) has named Randolph Barker, a shareholder in the firm’s Business Practice Group, as its 2017 Realtor of the Year. This award is given annually in recognition of a distinguished member’s outstanding leadership and service for the association, the community and the real estate industry.

Mr. Barker, who is also a real estate broker, assists clients with both routine and complex real estate transactions and litigation matters, including sales, leases, financing, land contracts, real property purchases, construction liens, boundary disputes and property tax appeals.

In addition to this award, which was given in recognition of his service as a DAR director and his significant contributions to real estate agent training and continuing education programs, Randy was named a finalist for the statewide award to be given by the Michigan Association of Realtors at its annual convention in September.
