Berry Moorman P.C. shareholder George H. Runstadler III, recently conducted a presentation on Estate Planning during the CPE Mega Conference (with the Closely-Held Business Forum).

The presentation, titled “Preserving The Family Legacy Through Estate Planning” covered various topics including the best practices for preserving family businesses, and the psychology of succession and what considerations come into play when estate planning for family-owned businesses.

George H. Runstadler has extensive experience teaching at advanced levels for a number of institutions of higher learning, and is an Adjunct Professor at both Thomas Cooley Law School, LLM program and Walsh College in its Masters program, and has authored and presented material for the Michigan Bar Association, International Institute of Certified Financial Planners, Michigan Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education and numerous other organizations, both professional and private.

Estate planning is a major component of George Runstadler’s practice, which includes, among others, the design and preparation of estate plans, succession planning, charitable planning, probate and trust administration, taxes and litigation.
