The RIM Foundation plays a vital role in supporting the work of the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, a renowned institution that provides life-changing rehabilitation services, conducts crucial research, and fosters community outreach initiatives to aid those affected by physical disabilities.
The annual gala was night of generosity, elegance, and unwavering commitment to helping those in need and featured a live auction and dinner. The highlight of the Rehabilitation Institute’s Annual Go Beyond Gala was a keynote speech by Frank Torre, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Detroit Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan Hospital, which included the “Courage Awards”, where three individuals and former RIM patients were formally recognized and honored for their exceptional strength and courage in being able to overcome near impossible odds and live a life without limitations.
