Attorney Biography

Mr. Edelstein’s practice over the past twenty eight years has concentrated in large part on the negotiation and structuring of trade and investment transactions in Eastern European countries on behalf of the U.S. based clients.

Mr. Edelstein advises them on a wide range of commercial, corporate, finance, tax, securities, antitrust, currency control, labor laws and other issues of concern to investors, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and privatization. Mr. Edelstein also represents Eastern European and other foreign companies doing business in the United States and provides counsel on corporate structures, regulatory compliance, and general business matters.

In his immigration practice, Mr. Edelstein assists corporate clients in navigating employment-based immigration processes. He facilitates the entry of foreign professional employees and executives into the United States assisting with H-1B, H-2B, E, L-1, and B-1 visas, as well as Labor Certification and permanent resident status.

Mr. Edelstein also provides immigration services to individuals, guiding them through family-based immigration processes and facilitating the reunification of families across borders. He assists couples in obtaining fiance visas, marriage-based permanent residency, and naturalization.

Fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and Uzbek, Mr. Edelstein bridges linguistic and cultural gaps to serve a diverse clientele.
