Berry Moorman shareholders Sheryl Laughren, David Foy and Randy Barker will present “Weapons in the Workplace: Employers in the Crossfire” at the ASE’s Fifth Annual Employment Law Workshop on September 21, 2016. Randy Barker will lead the breakout session, which will review laws covering an employer’s right to regulate the presence of weapons at their work sites, and also discuss policies and practices impacting employer liability if violence in the workplace occurs.
For a fifth year, the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group will also sponsor the “Ask the Panel” lunch program. Sheryl Laughren will serve as moderator of a panel discussion discussing hot topics in employment law, with David Foy and Randy Barker participating as panelists.
