Randolph T. Barker Appointed Co-Chair of Washtenaw County Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section
Randolph T. Barker has been appointed to serve as co-chair of the Washtenaw County Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section for the term beginning August 1, 2011. The mission of the Labor & Employment Law Section is to serve and support their members and others by providing continuing legal education, leadership and networking opportunities and promoting professionalism.
Mr. Barker is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group where he concentrates his practice on workforce management issues, health and safety, risk management, employee benefits, union-employer relations and preventive measures for litigation avoidance.
In the event of litigation or arbitration, Mr. Barker exclusively represents employers in defense of wrongful discharge, discrimination/equal employment opportunity and wage-and-hour claims under both state and federal law, as well as Family and Medical Leave issues, trade secret and non-compete matters, union grievances and unfair labor practice claims.
