The National Labor Relations Board recently extended the deadline for complying with its new employee notice rules from November 14, 2011 to January 31, 2012. These rules apply to any employer subject to the National Labor Relations Act (most private sector employers are covered, regardless of whether they are unionized). Each covered employer must conspicuously display a poster in the workplace notifying employees of their rights under the NLRA.
